Victory over Arsenal

Came from behind, United won the match with an own goal. Clearly Arsenal were the better side, but we earned an important victory.

5-Star Performance!

United bounced back from midweek defeat to Burnley by trashing Wigan 5-0!

WAYNE ROONEY joined the Manchester United 100 club to sink Wigan.

Rooney scored either side of Dimitar Berbatov's effort as the Latics were killed off in nine second-half minutes.

Michael Owen grabbed his first United goal late on before Nani added a fifth in injury time.

Burnley 1 MU 0

I figure we will get many more results like this as we progress... MU just do not have anyone to turn a match when they are playing poorly now.

How FAST can you run?

If you are Usain Bolt — you can do 100 meters in 9.58 seconds! That is super fast!

Rooney's Winning Start

Not particularly convincing, United just managed to come up with a 1-0 win over Birmingham at home. To be honest, both wingers (Valencia and Nani) still have some ways to go before they can cause problems to better teams like Chelsea and Liverpool.

United were without Rio and Vidic, and there were no Carrick, Anderson or Park too. Scholes was picked but I thought he was poor.

Here we go again!

United lost the shield to Chelsea on the season opener last night. Played well in the first half but then Chelsea came back and dominated the second half, until Rooney leveled the score with almost the last kick of the football match.

Then Giggs, of all people, and Evra missed miserably from the spot kicks to hand Carlo Ancelotti his first trophy on his first day on the job.

How is United going to cope without Ronaldo and Tevez this season? If the Wembley outing was going to give us any clue, United isn't going to cope very well.

It was a sad day indeed, as football world said farewell to the late Sir Bobby Robson.
