Shameful Ferrari
By lap 47, Ferrari had clearly decided to order Massa to move aside. His race engineer, Englishman Rob Smedley, broke the news in what the stewards interpreted in the only way they could, as code for 'let him pass'.
Smedley said slowly in his Middlesbrough drawl: 'OK, so, Fernando is faster than you.' On lap 48, he repeated: 'Fernando is faster than you. Can you confirm that you understand that message.' On lap 49, Massa slowed to a crawl and Alonso breezed by. He went on to win, narrowing his deficit behind Hamilton to 21 points. Massa, a year to the day after a stray spring fractured his skull, was second. Vettel, after that wasteful start, was third.
The mood on the Ferrari pit wall and in Alonso's hug with Massa was half-hearted. The press conference that followed was absurd. Both drivers insisted team orders had not been issued, which is all the ink we will give to their contemptible argument.

World Cup Fever sends Internet usage to record levels
There’s a fever running through the Internet today - World Cup Fever.
Today’s Web traffic has been classified as “Heavy” for the better part of the day, according to measurements by Akamai. At its peak, traffic for News sites globally started a steady climb about 6 am ET and peaked six hours later, at Noon ET, reaching nearly 12.1 million visitors per minute.
And even though the traffic dipped going into the afternoon, it stayed well above normal - registering some 6.5 million vpn, or 130 percent of normal - at 5 p.m. ET. The bulk of the demand in the last 24 hours has come from North America and Europe - but all regions are reporting “Heavy” usage.
The traffic suggests that the Internet was most active during the Mexico-South Africa game and stayed heavy through the France-Uruguay game. It’s also very likely that today being a workday had more people turning to their office computers to follow the action, instead of their TVs.
The day’s traffic far exceeded the previous record of 8.5 million vpm, which was set when Barack Obama won the U.S. presidential election.

I'll have one please, thank you! [Mini E]
It's pretty silent too. There's a rush of wind noise and some whirring from the motors but other than that you're just pinned back in your seat as the MINI rockets down the road. That's doubly impressive when you consider that the MINI E weighs 1,465kg, or around 265kg more than its petrol equivalent. You feel that slightly in the firm ride and leaden steering, but otherwise it's all pure MINI.

How expensive can an art gets?
L'Homme qui marche I
Alberto Giacometti's life-size bronze statute set a new world's record when it fetched $104.3 million at an auction in London this week.
Sotheby's said the iconic statute was bought by an anonymous bidder who paid nearly three times the expected price after a round of intense bidding.

iPad - weird name, but it rocks!
The iPad, which resembles a giant iPhone, has a 9.7in full-colour touch-screen, and can be used to watch movies, surf the internet, listen to music, view photos, and read ebooks and digital versions of newspapers and magazines. Jobs described the device as a "truly magical and revolutionary product".
He confirmed speculation that the iPad could be used to read ebooks, newspapers and magazines. "Amazon has done a great job of pioneering books with the Kindle," said Jobs. "We're going to stand on their shoulders and go a bit further."
