Munich Disaster - Rooney Out as United Stumbled

This is an important space of 8 days for Man Utd, it didn't start well. The first of three tests was in Munich. It was like the 1999 final, only this time, the result is reversed. Maybe God says "Let give Bayern something to cheer about after the 1999 misery." Chelsea on Saturday and then Bayern back to Old Trafford next week... it will be tough period for United which could potentially define how the season ends.

So much for living the dream. This ended with a nightmare in widescreen for Sir Alex Ferguson.

To his right, the sight of Ivica Olic doing to United what his team once did to Bayern Munich; while to his left the sight of Wayne Rooney writhing in agony and clutching his ankle with what looked like a nasty injury.

Berba brace see Bolton off as Chelsea hit 7 past Villa... game on.

Dimitar Berbatov rendered Rooney’s absence negligible by scoring twice, nimbly poking home a rebound when Jussi Jaaskelainen weakly parried Darren Fletcher’s shot after Ryan Giggs found the breaking Fletcher with a canny pass, then converting with a clever finish from eight yards out after Nani jinked into position to supply him.

Gibson added the 4th. The first was an own goal by Jlloyd Samuel.

Chelsea won 7-1 at home against Villa (Yes! SEVEN), while Arsenal drew against Birmingham.

Bring on Chelski next week! It doesn't get any more exciting than this in the race to the English Premiership League title.

Messi is scoring goals for fun!

The best player on the planet.

The Argentinian wizard smashed three goals past Valencia last weekend and he was at it again on Sunday, scoring three in Barcelona’s 4-2 win over Real Zaragoza — including this incredible second.

Terrific Park! (MU 2 - Liverpool 1)

The two finest English midfielders of their respective generations appeared on the pitch here and Ji-Sung Park upstaged both of them.

In fairness to Paul Scholes, there was not an awful lot he could have done about it in the eight minutes he spent on the field. Left on the bench for the previous 87, he only came on so Sir Alex Ferguson could kill some time and reward Park with the standing ovation he richly deserved.

But Steven Gerrard proved nothing like as influential as a talented, tenacious South Korean who has scored important goals against Arsenal, AC Milan and Liverpool in recent weeks.

There was a time when Ferguson considered Gerrard the most influential player in the English game. But not on this occasion. Not when it was players like Park and Darren Fletcher who took charge of this scrappy, fiercely contested encounter and propelled Manchester United back to the top of the Barclays Premier League. Wayne Rooney has dominated the headlines in recent months and rightly so.

The outstanding footballer in this country right now, he took his season's tally to 33 with the goal that cancelled out a superb fifth-minute header from Fernando Torres.

Chelsea slipped up in the title race though, drawing 1-1 with Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.

Quarter Final Draws - United to play Bayern

United draw Bryern Munich (Ribery and Robben are no fire right now), if they get pass them, they should be able to get pass the winning French side in the semi-final (Lyon?). Exciting time ahead, but life isn't always that simple.

Arsenal have a tough one again Barca. Messi is going to be a nightmare for Arsene Wenger. Henry returns to the Emirate.

Intel have it easy. At least on paper, they should go through easily.

Wayne brings tally to 32 against Fulham

He just can't stop scoring! Rooney hits his 32nd goal of the season in United's 3-0 victory over Fulham. Berbatov scored the 3rd after a great cross from Park JS.

Superb.

Becks is out of the World Cup... every game, you think that something might happen to Rooney... and you pray that he will avoid getting stamped or kicked... a "Beckham" at this moment is going to be devastating to United, and to England...

MU 4 - 0 AC Milan - It is Rooney's night, again!!

Rooney powered United over Milan in the 4-0 win. Powerful performance!

Rooney scored a goal in each half to take his tally for the season to 30 and snuff out any chance Milan had of crowning Beckham's appearance against his former club in glory.

Instead, the joy was all the hosts' as Park Ji-Sung ran onto Paul Scholes' pass to widen the gap before Darren Fletcher headed a fourth near the end.

Is the file safe to install?

How many times you ask yourself this question after downloading some cool files from the Internet?

I found this site recently, and it is relatively reliable. I tried with a few files myself, and I like what I see.

Carling Cup Champions!

United down Villa 2-1 to claim the first silverware of the season.

Wayne Rooney was the hero as United battled back to beat Villa in an entertaining clash at Wembley. The Red Devils fell behind to James Milner's penalty but Michael Owen equalised and Rooney headed the winner.
